‘Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist’ episode 2: How to watch, live stream, TV channel, time

After a month break, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist is back with its second episode Sunday, Feb. 16, at 9 p.m. ET on NBC. It’s also available to live stream on Hulu + Live and fuboTV (7-day free trial).

The musical show, based on the premise that the main character can hear people’s inner thoughts as songs, previewed its first episode in January and then took a break. It’s returning with its second episode Sunday and will air another 11 episodes after that.

Zoey (Jane Levy), who is a coder, receives a power to hear others’ thoughts when there’s a mishap with an MRI scanner. Skylar Astin plays Max, Zoey’s work friend, and Lauren Graham plays her boss.

Mary Steenburgen and Peter Gallagher are featured as Zoey’s parents. Gallagher’s character has a degenerative neurological disorder, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, that has rendered him speechless. This storyline is pulled directly from the life of the creator of Zoey, Austin Winsberg, whose dad was diagnosed with the same disease.

Fans who missed the pilot can watch it on NBC at 8 p.m. ET, before the new episode.
